Thomson & Scott launch their alcohol free sparkling wine. A de-alcoholised drink perfect for the summer that doesn't compromise on taste.
We're proud of our products, but we know that not everyone drinks alcohol. We also know that the market for zero alcohol drinks isn't particularly exciting so we wanted to change that.
Noughty is produced with 100% organic Chardonnay grapes, and the wine is de-alcoholised using a patented technique without any additional sugar or artificial aromas. It's vegan, just like the rest of our range, and suitable for those on a Halal diet.
Founder, Amanda Thomson, says “There is a huge amount of evidence to show that consumers are drinking less alcohol and looking for top quality alternatives in beer and spirits. However, no-one was tackling the alcohol-free wine sector to cater to the next generation of wine drinkers who don’t want to consume alcohol. We’re therefore excited to be the first to produce a delicious, luxe, non-alcoholic sparkling wine that is also 100% organic and vegan certified.”
Noughty will be available through both the on-trade and off-trade, with initial outlets including Brewdog bars, Planet Organic, Amazon, Harvey Nichols and via the Thomson & Scott website.
We launched Noughty at London Food Tech Week on 21st May, where Amanda Thomson was also a keynote speaker.
